NASA Climate Program:

The Climate Program promotes innovation in public and private sector organizations to apply NASA satellite data, model products, and scientific findings to climate mitigation adaptation activities. The program particularly supports activities associated with the implementation of climate standards, policy and regulations for environmental, economic and human welfare.

The Climate Program cuts across many areas of application, including efforts in air quality, environmental forecasting, energy and public health.


At the current rate, Lake Oroumeih will be completely dry by the end of 2013 Climate Applications Projects:
The Program supports in-depth, end-to-end projects in the use of satellite data for climate decision-making as well as core, enabling applications knowledge to support climate policy makers.
 
The Melting of Holgate Glacier, Alaska Programmatic Activities:
The program support national and international activities to improve skills, share data and applications, and broaden the range of users who apply satellite data and Earth science in climate decisions.
