With ROSES-2010, the Applied Sciences Program begins soliciting proposals separately by individual applications areas (rather than one Program-wide solicitation). The Program is also reserving funding for applied research projects and applications-oriented projects received under solicitations issued by the Earth Science Research Program.
The Applied Sciences Program issued a broad description of the program’s solicitations under ROSES-2010: Applied Sciences Program – Decision Support (Element A.29)
The Program currently supports eight elements in ROSES-2010 – two elements directly for applications projects, two elements for applications-oriented people on mission science teams, and four elements for applied research and applications projects received under Research Program calls.
