California Flooding Event

An atmospheric river from the Pacific Ocean has been providing the fuel for heavy rainfall across Northern California starting in late February. The flooding caused at least one death and forced the evacuation of thousands of people as the floodwaters rose. The Russian River reached it's highest level in decades causing large amounts of flooding in the town of Guerneville, CA.
