Overview:

On Dec. 5, 2024, a M7 earthquake occurred off the coast of Cape Mendocino, CA. The Disasters Response Coordination System activated to assist response efforts, responding to a request from the California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) for aid in identifying landslides and tracking land surface change.
