ARSET offers online and in-person trainings for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Trainings cover a range of datasets, web portals, and analysis tools and their application to air quality, agriculture, climate, disasters, land, and water resources management. Since 2009, the program has reached over 89,000 participants from 180 countries and more than 17,000 organizations worldwide.
ONLINE TRAININGS
ARSET offers self-paced training modules and live webinars at introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels. Most webinar materials are also available in Spanish, and a few are available in French. Recordings of webinars are available on YouTube and on each training information page.
Webinar series' may run anywhere from one to five weeks and weekly sessions are one to two hours each. We often offer sessions twice a day to accommodate participants in different time zones. Some require no previous experience, but there are prerequisites for advanced webinars. Please check each training page for more information.
IN-PERSON TRAININGS
ARSET partners with other organizations to host two- to four-day in-person trainings with curricula tailored to specific regions. Conducted in a computer lab or a room with high-speed internet, our workshops combine lectures and hands-on activities. Attendees learn how to access, interpret, and apply NASA data on local and global scales, with an emphasis on real-life case studies.
