ARSET offers online and in-person trainings for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Trainings cover a range of NASA datasets, web portals, and analysis tools and their applications to health and air quality, agriculture, climate and resilience, disasters, ecological conservation, and water resources management. Since 2009, the program has reached over 100,000 participants from 180 countries and more than 17,000 organizations worldwide.

ONLINE Instructor-Led TRAININGS

ARSET offers live, instructor-led trainings where you can tune in for series of webinar-style sessions, where our experts present detailed explanations, case studies, demonstrations, and a Q&A session. Those who attend all of the live webinar sessions and complete the assigned homework and are eligible for a certificate of completion after the training. Recordings and training materials are available on the training page after the webinar concludes.

Online Self-Paced Trainings

ARSET now offers asynchronous, self-paced training through our Moodle learning management system. Check back frequently as we build our catalog of flexible, interactive training courses that complement our live webinar offerings.

IN-PERSON TRAININGS

ARSET partners with organizations to host two- to four-day in-person trainings with curricula tailored to specific communities. Conducted in a computer lab or a room with high-speed internet, our workshops combine lectures and hands-on activities. Attendees learn how to access, interpret, and apply NASA data on local and global scales, with an emphasis on real-life case studies. Due to building capacity limits and the in-depth nature of these sessions, attendance is often closed in in-person ARSET trainings.
