How did you get interested in Prizes & Challenges (P&C)? What drew you to NASA?

Prizes & Challenges (P&C) encourages collaboration from outside the NASA community by stimulating public engagement in STEM while supporting NASA’s mission. What drew me to both NASA and Prizes & Challenges is the need for clear, comprehensive communication to the broader populous about what NASA is doing as an institution and as a respected educator in providing resources to those who need them.

Describe what your work is like at NASA. What’s your favorite part of the job so far?

My work at NASA thus far has been fulfilling in that I have the opportunity to collaborate and have an in-depth understanding of various projects and NASA missions and how to take what I have learned into action, such as communication plans and strategy for public use and viewing.

My favorite part of the job has been networking and meeting others who have made a path for themselves to get to where they are now and having the opportunity to educate myself on how to progress in my emerging early career.

What are your goals?

My goal for this term is to curate the foundation for various communications strategies and plans that will continue to propel and support NASA missions and projects for a bigger, brighter future!

What are your hobbies?

Traveling, experiencing quality culinary experiences, creative writing, visiting museums and historical places, and watching documentaries!
