APPLIED REMOTE SENSING TRAINING PROGRAM (ARSET)
The Applied Remote Sensing Training Program, a part the NASA Applied Sciences Capacity Building program area, offers online and in-person trainings for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Trainings cover a range of datasets, web portals, and analysis tools and their application to air quality, agriculture, disaster, land, and water resources management. Since 2009, the program has reached over 32,000 participants from 170 countries and more than 7,500 organizations worldwide. Learn more.

EarthData Pathfinders & Data toolkits
New to using NASA Earth observations? NASA's EarthData Pathfinders are resources designed to help guide you through the process of selecting data products and learning how to use them. Pathfinders provide direct access to the most commonly-used data sets and data products across NASA’s Earth science data collections. They also provide different ways of visualizing the data, options for creating subsets of the data and options for saving the data in different file formats.
Pathfinder Topics
- Agricultural and Water Resources
- Biodiversity and Ecological Conservation
- COVID-19
- Getting Started with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Data Pathfinder
- Disasters
- Health & Air Quality
- Sea Level Change
- Water Quality
NASA's remote sensing data help scientists, researchers, decision makers, and more understand the contributing forces and the impacts of catastrophic events. NASA also provides near real-time (NRT) data for time critical applications.
