Currently, the death toll in Comoros stands at 4, while Mozambique has had 38 confirmed fatalities. TC Kenneth is a very slow moving storm, dumping extreme amounts of rain over Northern Mozambique. Pemba has already received 22 inches of rain, and up to 20 more inches of rain is possible in the next 5 days. More than 35,000 homes in northernmost Cabo Delgado were partially or fully destroyed by Kenneth.
