Several days of heavy rainfall led to widespread flooding in the eastern Venezuela states of Delta Amacuro, Boliver, and Merida. Residential areas along the Orinoco and Caroni Rivers were flooded. An estimated 15,000 people were affected by the flooding , with hundreds evacuated from impacted areas.
