Building Skills Around the World
We want people in the United States and around the world to use Earth observations — to find innovative solutions and solve local challenges. But finding the data you need and knowing how to use it isn’t always easy.
That’s why our team brings unparalleled enthusiasm and deep expertise from all of our elements — ARSET, SERVIR, DEVELOP, and Community Action — to support anyone who is interested in learning about Earth observations and remote sensing technologies. Regardless of previous knowledge or experience, our team is here to help you.
We partner with organizations like the National Park Service, Virginia's City of Hampton, the World Food Programme, the international Group on Earth Observations (GEO) and many others to make sure we connect with anyone interested in incorporating Earth observations into their work. Together, we amplify the power of people to make an impact in their communities and around the world.
We help communities worldwide develop the necessary skills to put Earth observations to work. Our project portfolio demonstrates what's possible when we work together to utilize these data.
Our leadership team brings diverse experience and deep understanding to building capacity to use Earth observations globally. They strengthen our reach and results through their guidance, management and programmatic assessment. They lead the way forward.
Our training and support team is a network of dedicated professionals convening and collaborating to ensure the success of our training efforts and research projects.
The partnerships we’ve developed with local, regional, state, federal and international organizations are instrumental in increasing the use of Earth observations and putting these resources in the hands of people around the world.
